abstract ={We report on the successful application of academic experience
with formal modelling and verification techniques to an
automotive scenario from the field of service-oriented computing.
The aim of this industrial case study is to verify
a priori , thus before implementation, certain design issues.
The specific scenario is one of the outcomes of discussions
with automotive experts on possible new services for drivers
to be provided by the in-vehicle computers.}
